Okay. I got picked for a jury in a slip-and-fall case. Worker hurt on the job. And it entailed a lot of sitting around, which was good, because I was behind on several magazines. Also, I spent Tuesday’s lunch hour at the Transit Museum, which is in Brooklyn near the courthouse.
But right before the trial was supposed to start, the parties settled out of court, so I didn’t actually have to serve.

I won’t have to serve again until at least 2008.
